In 1932 Geroge Stokke started manufacturing furniture on the west coast of Norway near the famous Geiranger Fjord. He was truly innovative and was the first to employ professional Scandinavian designers. Much has changed but the notion held by the company remains the same. If humans can move in a natural way, even whilst sitting the body will feel better, Varier call it intelligent sitting.
